The trial has been extended for a further year so we are giving current members who make regular visits to the gated area the opportunity to purchase a key, valid until the next lock change on the 1st April 2018. This can be purchased ONLY by postal application at the PO box address identified in the joining details. DO NOT APPLY if you are not a current member. You should enclose £10-00, your current postal address and current membership number. A stamped addressed envelope is not required as the key cannot be posted back in an ordinary envelope.
APPLICATION FOR A PERSONAL KEY
Annual membership is £10-00 (Member), reduced to £5-00 (Senior) if you are aged 65 years or more, renewable from the 1st March of each year. You can join or renew in one of two ways:-

By post enclosing the relevant fee and a stamped addressed envelope to:

New members will be issued with a unique number that remains with the member for future years. They will receive a Membership Card identifying the year, a map and a roundel with the year for placing in a visible place if using a car to access through the gate.
Renewing members will receive a new card endorsed with their existing number and the roundel.
Existing members renewing at an outlet should have their old card with them to ensure that their unique number is carried forward. If applying by post they should send in their old card or, if lost, quote their existing number.
You may join or renew at any time of the year but the membership will lapse at the end of February.
Membership enables the member to call in at any key outlet, identified below, to collect a key for a day’s session accessing through the shingle haul road gate. Please note that the key should be returned to the same outlet at the end of the session – if necessary leaving the key in the ‘drop box’ outside the outlet - this is a free service to members.
